POLYMAIL TECH STACK FREE
This can be found in your settings and feel free to leave 5-star rating on the App Store. With this update, this handles way better than the time of writing this article. It was a HUGE headache for me to read emails in slow app start timing. This was one of the biggest issues that I had in the past as a beta tester.
POLYMAIL TECH STACK UPDATE
Update v1.19 (7/7/16): There are some features that have been improved over the past couple months and let’s go over the latest updates on the app. Hope this bug will get this fixed in a future release. It does not properly fetch the mail server from today to even older messages. Plenty of users are experiencing sync issues. So, I am happy that it still works for me, though. Send Later feature does not send the emails requested to send laterĬertain users tried to get their emails sent via Send Later feature but they say certain times it does not work. Hopefully this will be fixed in the future versions. I don’t ever like the escapes of HTML and Unicode escapes at all. However, when I go to my notification center and close it after a brief few seconds, it freezes up and goes back to normal for the next 45 seconds. I normally think that it should be smooth and sleek right out of the box.

I do get push notifications about new emails but the badge count does not properly count of the actual number of unread messages when I am outside of the app. Here’s a few that I and several other users already mentioned in the Polymail Slack channel: Badge count does not update when the user is outside of Polymail app (Seeing a Boomerang for Outlook replacement? Sure, I think so.)Īlthough I really love the app but there are some issues that could be improved while it is in alpha. Let’s say that if I want to send an email for 2 days from now, then it will send that email later. Send later is the second best feature in the app. This could of been (the now defunct ) Mailbox’s feature. With Polymail that the feature is already integrated into the app, I no longer have to worry about which recipient that I sent about certain topics. Before this, it was particularly annoying that I had to use Boomerang for Outlook.

Just like in Microsoft Outlook, it brings to my own attention that it is important to me to follow up with the people I contact the most. However, I love the feature because it would remind me that he already read my message that I sent him out for at least a couple hours. Whenever somebody reads my message it would say something like:īrandon Shin (one of the co-founders of the app) has read your message. I composed several emails with the client and it just works great right out of the box.

No email client than Polymail achieved this feature that nails it in the head. With that being said, let’s go over the features that I am currently testing: Email per-recipient tracking It has been featured by many companies and news sites like the TheNextWeb for praising this app. I am proud to be one of the few lucky alpha testers to test it out before it was released. They were #1 on the tech ranks of Product Hunt on February 26. Now, they come back for more with the release of the iOS alpha.
